So... As I said in my last journal, I'm stopping cosplay for a while. That's mostly true. I realized that I'm still working on my TARDIS hoodie and I WILL get that done at some point. I just got rid of all of my fabric except the fabric to work on the hoodie. Princess bubblegum still needs a crown and wig, but I'm only doing a casual cosplay of her. Aelita still needs her new wig. And a few other cosplays that I'm keeping have gotten a bit destroyed and need to be touched up.
On my list of cosplays I am keeping, it would be White Raven, Sheena, Miku, Ed, Aelita, Sion, Ouka, Ember, Sophie, and possibly Sasuke. OC's might happen every now and then. For now I only have Michiru, I do not have her Sailor Scout outfit and won't for a long time. I hopefully have someone lending me their violin to do more pictures of her though and possibly a Haruka for couple pictures. I still have my Pikachu and Absol hoodie. I might end up doing a genderbent casual Saskue and Naruto with , but who knows if that will ever happen. I might also do a really simple genderbent 11th Doctor with my boyfriend as genderbent River Song, but I don't know if he's very willing or not.
Mystique, Kaoru, Temari, Reno, Izaya, Dark Sakura, Gary, Sabrina, Korra, Toboe, Katniss, and Ramona have basically gone no where... I also had so many other ideas that I would have loved to do... But they just aren't going to happen for a long time. Jesse has been almost done for AGES now. He seriously only needs one last pattern for the back of his vest and I just don't want to do it... I still have plenty of white fabric since I kept it for my TARDIS, but gah... I hate that pattern.
Now onto my other issue... Conventions. I haven't gone to Anime Crossroads since 2012. I won't be able to this year, I know that. I also won't be able to "officially" go to Gen Con this year, but I'll still wander the halls with my friends I think, since I live down the street. I missed Indy Pop Con and Indy Comic Con this year and if I don't end up missing them next year, I still don't think I'll be able to go to them. ACEN, very last minute, I cancelled this year. I also don't think I'll be able to do it next year. Anime St Louis is too far away for me as well, so that hasn't happened since 2012 either. This is hard on me, but Gen Con will be the only con I kind of go to for a few years. And I might not even do it because I might decide to work those days instead.
With conventions on hold and stopping production of all new cosplays that are not already almost done, it's hard on me. I need to focus on school and my photography. I might have a family portrait coming up this summer and in August I might also be able to take pictures at a wedding as well (cosplayers getting married at that!). I also have to pay for school, which is why I can't be spending money on cosplay and conventions. The little money I want to spend on myself this summer is already iffy and I'd also like to be able to buy actual christmas presents for my family, boyfriend, and best friends this year. I'm not going to buy little things for all of my friends at school again this year. I'm also currently not getting a whole lot of hours at work and need to find other ways of getting money. Dog sitting and doing yard work might be part of it, along with random face paint and photography gigs.
So now that I have ranted on and on about my stupid problems and I doubt any of you have read all of this, I just want to say thank you, again, for all of the support I have gotten in the past years of my photogrpahy and cosplay (and other artwork) growing. It means a lot to me to know that people enjoy my artwork.

Life is Rough
 Hello everyone!
As usual, I suck at getting on Deviantart in recent times. I also suck at uploading photos. But this time, it's only because I haven't edited anything besides a very quick engagement shoot I did on Black Friday last year. Any of my for fun shoots have been untouched. I am extremely behind. I ended up losing progress on my Indy Pride 2017 photos because my computer died and I hadn't updated everything onto my external hard drive yet. I was in the middle of editing when it happened. I no longer have a mac and the pc I got seems to be really slow, no matter what I do to it. I've been trying to fix it, but even so
Lets Talk Photography
Hi everyone.
It's been a while since I last posted a journal. I'm still trying to upload photos here and there and try to be active with my photography group. Life has been pretty difficult recently though. Just the past 4 months have been very busy for me. But I wanted to take some time to talk about how exactly photography works. No, I don't mean how cameras work and how to take photos, I mean the process of getting photos done by a photographer. I don't think most people out there understand, not even always other artists. This will be about portrait and event photography, other photography is very different. So let me explain my field to
It's been a while...
Well, here I am, a year later from my last journal, writing to you all again. (this should have been published on the 12th.. but for some reason my computer never submitted it...?)
A lot has happened in the last year. And there's a lot to be looking forward to in the next few years. I have gotten behind in my editing, yet again. I really wanted to edit during my few days off this last week, but I got the flu and was sleeping and in bed the entire time. It was kind of awful, I'm only just now feeling better. It's also kind of hard to edit some of my photos due to the fact that the few photo shoots I did, were with my now ex-friend. Plus, I di
Happy New Year + Update
Happy New year, everyone!
I know I haven't posted a journal in a while, so I wanted to update everyone still out there paying attention to my account. I'm having a busy time. I just had an awesome doctor's appointment that will help me with many things, not just what it's meant for. I also am now a Supervisor at the IMAX I work at! I quit the zoo, so I will not be returning this next year. I am okay with this though. I have a more constant pay at the IMAX and it's much more relaxed, which is what I'm in need of if I want to get my photography business running.
And speaking of photography, I finished my 365 day project!! I only missed one da
